The Hunt For Green November

Day #1:  On the first night of the camp we set up our tents with who we were going to sleep with that night.  Next we put our gear in the tent.  After that we set up our dining shelter and divided into four groups.  Each group got its’ own table.  We got about eight jugs and filled them with water so we could use it for cooking and cleaning.  Finally we got mug up and then went to bed in our tents.

Day #2:  On day number two we started off by making breakfast:  we had eggs, sliced ham, bread, cheese, onions and peppers to work with.  Then we cleaned our table and dishes.  Next we started the hunt for Green November.  After five minutes looking we went to our first station.  After that we had soup and fruit cups for lunch and then did the dishes.  Then we did our other two stations.  The next part was my favourite!  We got to make our own shelters.  I built and slept in a shelter with Noah, Ethan and Tristan.  After shelter building we went on to the cooking challenge.  In the cooking challenge we had ground beef, rice, tomato sauce, onions, cheese, buns, some spices and soy sauce.  My group made Sloppy Joes and soy rice plus we won the cooking challenge.  Next we washed our dishes like usual and looked for Green November.  Then some people played Capture the Flag.  Next we had a campfire where we did short skits and had mug up.  Finally I mean finally we got to go to bed after a long fun day.

Day #3:  On the third and final day we took down our shelters, packed our gear and took down the tent from the first day.  Then we had breakfast.  There was a choice of bread, toast or oatmeal.  Once again we cleaned the dishes and looked for Green November.  After that we had free time until the parents came and picked us up.
