The Hunt For Green November

Hi my name is Josh and I attended the Hunt for Green November camp. My favourite thing there was the fire making station. I enjoyed learning how to make a fire and getting my fire permit.  Some of the other stations where GPS Orienting, nature hikes, Map and Compass orienting, Axe and Saw and the Hunt for Green November station. The letters N O V E M B E R were hidden and you had some clues to find the letters.  If you found the letters your patrol won the Hunt for green November.  My patrol came in third.

To cook our meals we had patrol bins and we cooked breakfast and lunch ourselves. For dinner, we had a cook off, called Iron Chef, where we cooked for our patrol and the leaders. We then competed to see who had the best meal.  The leaders were the judges.  Again, we didn't win, but we had a lot of fun cooking. When we had our campfire each patrol did a skit.  My patrol did a skit called Peanuts, no long moral story, just something for fun.  The Hunt for Green November camp was the best.
