Finding NEMO Camp Report

I believe this camp was very good. Although at the very beginning we were very disorganized and it took a long time for enough scouters to arrive to take a party of people down to the Adirondacks. I believe that most of the scouts including myself loved the tree removal task and that next camp we should have more time for that. Another event we did was making the “hobo” stoves. This was very good and we even cooked lunch on them but they didn’t provide lids for them so all of the methyl hydrate is currently evaporating out of our “hobo stoves”. Overall the food was good but next time we should have either faster meals or more time allocated for cleanup. This is because I was one of the PL’s and APL’s that had to stay back during free time and do the joyous event of cleaning troop dishes!! On the whole this camp was amazing and I believe it should be repeated next year with only these few minor changes. If you weren’t there that’s a shame because it was a great camp. See ya next time.
