This weekend I attended Dorchester for the 22nd Annual North America Scout Camp. The camp occurs on Mother's Day weekend. Our group met in the parking lot of Frontenac Elementary School where we were assigned cars and drove up to camp. When we got there there was a twenty minute line line-up to get inside the grounds. Once we got in and found our campsite we started setting up. Once all the shelters and tents were up we wnet to bed. The next day we had a late breakfast and had to eat after opening. After breakfast we were assigned into our activity groups and went off to activites. Every year except this year they have held a blind auction after activites using the points you got at each activity as the auction money. But this year they took that out, but I didn't know that so my group tried to go to the quickest but lame activites. Of all the many activities we did I would have to say that my two favourtie were soap rock carving and tomahawing. At the end of activities I went badge trading and almost missed dinner which I ended up eating in five minutes to make the subsection awards meeting. After the awards we went to the band for twenty minutes but then came back to play president until curfew. The next day we went to closing and then went to pack up. That's when my mom came to pick me up.
